Co-founder and President at Cairn Investment Group, Tim wears many hats for our organization. He most enjoys helping clients understand their investments and how the markets, regulations, and their personal choices may affect their outcomes. Knowledgeable about the rules and regulations governing financial firms, he also acts as Chief Compliance Officer.

Tim’s started out in the technology industry, working globally to develop supply chains, improve quality and reduce costs for some of Oregon’s leading manufacturers. He made the switch to the Financial Services industry during the infamous “Tech Wreck” of the early 2000s and has never looked back.

Away from work Tim enjoys spending time at home with his wife, Nadine, and their well-behaved pup Lucy Lu. He’s always in the middle of a home project and has several being planned. Together they enjoy travel to their second home in Loreto, Mexico, or to visit their children and grandchildren in Oregon and Hawaii.
